BAPTISM

​

Baptism is the beginning of the journey of faith- the gateway to the life of the church.

Fr Willie or Fr Laurent will be delighted to welcome your child into the community of faith in the parish.

Regular Baptism classes take place throughout the year.

RECONCILIATION

​

The sacrament of reconciliation (Confession) is celebrated at a scheduled time each week (please check weekly bulletin page available on request and is also celebrated as a parish community usually during Advent & Lent

Children in P3 celebrate the sacrament in preparation for First Holy Communion - 

EUCHARIST

The children of P4 are prepared for the sacrament of First Holy Communion- any child attending schools outwith the parish., please contact one of the priests

CONFIRMATION

​

The children of P4 are prepared for the sacrament of Confirmation- any child attending schools out with the parish, please contact the parish

ANOINTING OF THE SICK

​

This sacrament is offered to someone who is close to death but is more often offered to anyone who is elderly, unwell, or in specific medical need at home.

Please contact the parish should you wish to arrange a home visit for Anointing or the Sacrament of the Eucharist.

RITES OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION of ADULTS (RCIA)

Adults wishing to become full members of the Catholic Church receive instruction, guidance, and support on their journey during this process. A special course is arranged over several months starting in September each year.   Please contact the parish to register

MATRIMONY

Couples wishing to prepare for and celebrate the  Sacrament of Marriage in our parish are asked to speak to one of the priests at least 6 months in advance.

HOLY ORDERS (PRIESTHOOD)

If you are considering joining the priesthood (or permanent diaconate), please speak to the Diocesan Vocations Director
