About Us

Our Lady of the Assumption & St Meddan is a Roman Catholic Church based in the coastal town of Troon, on the west coast of Scotland.

 Part of the Diocese of Galloway, we serve the town of Troon, including surrounding areas of Barassie, Loans & Dundonald, as well as St Partick's Primary School (https://blogs.glowscotland.org.uk/sa/stpatricksps/) and Queen Margaret Academy. 

Our Parish Priest is Fr Willie Boyd, who joined us from St Mary's in Irvine

PARISH FEAST DAY -The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary

  • 11.15am Mass​

  • "Strawberry Cream Tea" after Mass in the hall/gardens for parishioners

  • Games for the children in the gardens 

Monday 17th August

  •  10am - Mass

Thursday 20th August

  • 10am​ Mass

​​​Friday 21st August

  • 10am - Service of the Word with Holy Communion

​Saturday 22nd August​

  • ​ 6pm Vigil Mass 

​​​​​​​Sunday 23rd August.

  • Mass 11.15am - Children's Liturgy resumes

  •  Teas/Coffee in the hall after Mass
